Now in stock are these sensational new 650B cross country disc rims from Araya built on to the fabulous Tensile Aerosilk Plus '2' Hubs. Silky smooth and stunning looks, these wheels are available with Stainless Steel Araya spokes with natural or ED Black finish. Also supplied with Anodised Araya alloy nipples in a choice of brilliant anodised colours to match the colour of the hub.
These superb 650B (27.5") Wheels feature the new Araya Six50 Disc Rims 28mm wide super strong All Mountain section and fully eyeletted. Built with Araya Stainless Steel Plain Gauge spokes with ED Black plated finish and Araya Alloy anodised nipples, colour matched to the feature highlight colour of the Hubs. The hubs are the brand new Aerosilk Plus'2' Hubs from Tensile. Beautifully CNC machined from a fully forged Aluminium alloy billet, the delicate machining is picked out from the
Black Anodised finish with a feature colour anodised finish, either Red or Gold. They then run on silky smooth Industrial quality sealed bearings for incredible durability but feather light performance. Both hubs have International Standard 6 bolt Disc mounts

Tensile Aerosilk Plus '2' Disc Hubs (see description below)
Exciting new addition to the Tensile Professional Hub range. On the face of it the Quick Release version looks exactly the same as the standard Aerosilk Plus Hubs. But look inside and there the similarity ends. Brand new design internals cater for a massive new interchangeability for these stunning looking hubs. On the front one you can specify standard quick release or you can select the 15mm through axle version if you are planning something a little more extreme. And on the 135mm rear version, as well as the standard quick release you can alternatively opt for the 12mm through axle version. That is not all, because whichever one you select if you decide on a different style in the future, for a few pounds you can purchase the fittings to make the modifications. To make them even more Future Proof WE HAVE NOW INTRODUCED NEW FITTINGS TO CONVERT THE REAR HUB INTO A 142 MM WIDE, 12MM THROUGH AXLE.YOU CAN SPECIFY THIS ON YOUR ORDER.
But that is not where it ends. We listened to what you wanted from a top quality hub and made some changes to the Freehub body. This light but tough heat treated AL7075 alloy body runs on two industrial Takino sealed bearings and we have doubled the number of pawls to six. In addition we have staggered the position of the extra three by a few degrees, which doubles the number of engagement points from 36 to 72. This gives almost instantaneous pick up and gives better pawl life by reducing the hammer effect. Then instead of one circular spring holding all the pawls we have added individual springs on each pawl, so in the very unlikely event of a pawl spring failure you will still retain drive.
So there you have it. The most stunning looking design of disc hub on the planet, now also became the most versatile, and it still won't break the Bank.
